Following the introduction of its range of truck unloaders (Olympian® Drive Over, Titan® Rear Tip and Titan dual entry truck unloader), Telestack has added a side dumper to its Titan range.
According to the company, the latest Telestack truck unloaders are based on decades of proven designs, allowing customers such as mine operators or contractors to efficiently unload and store material from side-dump trucks.
The complete system, based on a modular plug-and-play model, consists of all the equipment provided by Telestack, offering a complete integrated modular package for unloading, stacking or transporting various bulk materials.
The side tip bucket allows the truck to “tip and roll” based on bin capacity, and the heavy duty apron feeder gives belt feeder strength with belt feeder compaction quality. At the same time, the Titan Bulk Material Intake Feeder uses a powerful skirted chain belt feeder to ensure controlled transport of the large amount of material being unloaded from the truck. Steep hopper sides and wear resistant liners control material flow for even the most viscous materials, and a high torque planetary gear can handle pulsating material. Telestack adds that all units are equipped with variable speed drives that allow operators to adjust the speed based on material properties.
As soon as the conditioned forage is unloaded from the side tipper, the material can be moved at a 90° angle to the radial telescopic stacker TS 52. The whole system is integrated and the Telestack can be configured for manual or automatic stacking of materials. For example, the radial telescopic conveyor TS 52 has a discharge height of 17.5 m and a load capacity of more than 67,000 tons at a slope angle of 180° (1.6 t/m3 at an angle of repose of 37°). According to the company, thanks to the telescopic performance of the radial telescopic stacker, users can stack up to 30% more cargo than using a more traditional radial stacker with a fixed boom of the same area.
Telestack Global Sales Manager Philip Waddell explains, “To our knowledge, Telestack is the only vendor that can offer a complete, single-source, modular solution for this kind of market, and we pride ourselves on listening to our customers. our dealers in Australia, we quickly recognized the potential of this product. We are lucky to work with dealers like OPS because they are close to the ground and understand the needs of our customers. Our success lies in the adaptability and flexibility as well as the versatility of using this product is a testament to the benefits of investing in such a device.”
According to Telestack, traditional deep pit or underground dump trucks require costly civil works to be installed and cannot be relocated or relocated as the plant expands. Floor feeders offer a semi-fixed solution with the added benefit of being fixed during operation and also being able to be moved later.
Other examples of side dumpers require installation with deep walls/high benches, requiring costly and labor intensive construction work. The company says all costs are eliminated with the Telestack side tip unloader.
Waddell continued, “This is an important project for Telestack as it demonstrates our responsiveness to the Voice of the Customer and our ability to apply existing proven technologies to new applications. feeders for over 20 years and we are well versed in technology. With factory and dealer support every step of the way, our Titan range continues to grow in number and functionality Growth. Our experience in various fields is invaluable to ensure design success, and it is important that we engage with from the very beginning, so we have a clear understanding of the technical and commercial needs of any project, which allows us to provide expert advice based on our international experience.”
