As a large and efficient unloading machine, car dumpers have been widely used in industrial production in China. Their function is to dump standard height gondolas containing materials. The dumper room is a place where raw materials are provided for the production line. The main equipment in the workshop includes trains, dumpers, silos, belt feeders, and belt conveyors. The coal from the power plant is mainly transported to the site by railway, and unloading is completed by a dump truck. The process is as follows: the raw materials are transported by train to the dumper room, and the dumper unloads the materials in the carriage to the silo. The materials in the silo are delivered to the belt conveyor through a belt feeder, and then transported to the storage yard and intermediate warehouse.
Due to the fact that any dust must undergo a certain process of propagation in order to diffuse into the air. The process of changing dust particles from a stationary state to a suspended state is called "dusting". According to on-site observations and theoretical analysis, the main reasons for dust formation in the dump machine room are as follows:
(1) When the dump truck dumps materials, collisions and squeezing occur between dust and dust, as well as between dust and solid walls. The air in the semi enclosed space is disturbed and moves, causing dust to dust.
(2) When a material moves at a certain speed in the air, it can drive the surrounding air to flow with it, and this part of the air is called induced air. Induced air will also entrain a portion of dust to flow with the air, which is the reason for induced dusting.
(3) In the process of overturning, the Rectangular cuboid train car will rotate around a certain axis with the dumper. The two sides of the car and the ground are like three fans, rotating around the axis. Therefore, a rotating airflow will be generated around the car. This airflow will carry the dust in the process of falling together, producing dust.
The above-mentioned dusting processes that cause dust particles to enter the air from a stationary state and float are called primary dusting, which has very little energy and can only cause local pollution. The main reason for the expansion of pollution is secondary airflow, which can carry dust to the entire bridge and cause greater harm.
Ultrasonic atomization dust removal uses ultrasonic technology to turn water mist into ultra-fine water droplets, with a small dry mist particle size of<10 μ m. With large contact area with air and high evaporation efficiency, the water vapor in the dust bearing area can quickly reach saturation, which can not only meet the conditions required to improve the wetness of respirable dust, but also realize the collection of "respirable dust" through Cloud physics, aerodynamics, Stephen flow transport and other mechanisms. This technology has high dust removal efficiency, especially for respirable dust of fine particle size. In addition to the advantages of traditional wet dust collectors, the main advantage is that its atomized water particle size is particularly small, which is easy to combine with dust particles and condense and settle down. Therefore, its water consumption is greatly reduced compared to wet dust removal, requiring only one thousandth or even smaller of the water consumption of traditional wet dust removal. The settled dust exists in a form similar to "mud cake", so the subsequent processing equipment is simple and the operating cost is low.
